Woke up this morning and decided to finally stop by the Alumni Lounge. I had been meaning to check it out, but I had been so busy with such great presentations and hanging out in the Blogger’s Lounge that I never got around to it.
I truly wish I had stopped in sooner! There’s nice bottles of soda with glasses for ice so you can have it nice and cold as well as a hot beverage bar.
And this morning there were delicious cinnamon rolls (the nemesis of my beltline, alas!) and other treats and candies.
And a lovely seating area where you can just unwind, blog, research, or do whatever your heart desires.
This morning I grabbed a tasty pastry and my usual morning poison of diet coke and began the day catching up on Twitter, my Tech Ed schedule, and work emails. All in the quiet and comfort of the lounge away from the hustle and bustle of the Tech Ed corridors.
So yes, being an alumni at Tech Ed has its perks! If you are an alumni and haven’t visited the Alumni Lounge yet, get to it!
Now that I’m relaxed and refreshed, I’m going to go down to the Blogger’s Lounge and post this and head off to some more wonderful sessions!
