C#/.NET Little Wonders - Is There Interest in a Kindle/Printed Version?

A friend on Twitter pointed out that Amazon has a self-publishing feature for both printed materials and Kindle books. Been debating on creating a Kindle version of my Little Wonders collection.

What do you folks think, is this a worthy endeavor? Do you think there'd be enough interest for the product to warrant the effort? What about the printed book?

I was originally thinking I'd do the Kindle version and avoid the printing on demand version but wanted to put it up to you folks who actually consume my hare-brained ramblings :-)

On the whole, feel that content for blog posts often doesn't translate well to other mediums. On the other hand, though, some other blog authors have created printed content for their blog entries as well, such as Raymond Chen's "The Old New Thing" book, so I'm not really sure anymore. It's probably most likely that I'm completely out of touch having more or less avoided mobile devices entirely.

That said, what have you got to lose? :P

I would welcome a kindle version very much, would pass on the dead tree version of course.

Personally I wouldn't have any use for a Kindle or Printed version.

I sometimes refer to your blog posts when I am working, coding at my desktop PC. It is far faster for me to fire up a browser tab than it would be to go and fetch a book or e-reader.

Thanks for the comments so far. Just to be clear: I would still of course keep up the existing blog posts and continue to post new Little Wonders, etc. on my blog. It was just a thought for collecting together the past Little Wonders posts in an alternative medium.

Kindle version would be interesting. Even if what Matt says is true, a well organized book could be different.

Your 'Little Wonders' series is a perfect candidate for an e-book and I'll definitely buy it when it comes out.

I'd say no to the physical book, for the reasons Jeff Atwood states: http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/2012/07/coding-horror-the-book.html

But as for the kindle/PDF/online version I'd say it depends on how much work it is to collect them all into a format that can be published. If it's fairly easy, go for it.

Good idea for those that use Kindle for reference I guess. But I don't. I much prefer to access online reference material via a search engine while working at my PC/laptop or to pick up and thumb through a well organised paper book on my topic of choice. I love my Kindle for reading novels but I don't find it particularly conducive to reference work where I'm looking for coding examples. However, I remain open minded enough to say that I'd be interested to see how it would present on a Kindle :-)

I think it would be great if it's well organized and readable (especially the code)

Epub please :-) I don't like buying into the Amazon ecosystem and prefer a slightly more independent Sony book reader. I would agree a printed version isn't worthwhile. I would also suggest than a web-based 'launchpad' epic or some sort of Page that the brings together and categorises everything would be a priority and mobile friendly delivery would be even better (never gets out of date)
